1. Content requirements

1.1. Correspondence of the article to the topic of the journal.

1.2. Scientific style of presentation (accuracy, logic, conciseness, clarity, coherence, integrity, completeness) of the material and its high scientific level.

1.3. The scientific article should contain the following structural elements:

• a) problem statement and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks (it is necessary to reveal the essence and state of the scientific problem in general, its theoretical and (or) practical significance, connection with important scientific or practical tasks; and its importance for the further development of the relevant branch of law (theory or practice));
• b) analysis of recent research and publications, which initiated the solution of the problem and on which the author relies, highlighting previously unresolved aspects of the general problem to which the article is devoted (briefly, critically and in a logical sequence to analyze the main publications that directly relate to the problem raised, highlight previously unresolved aspects of the general problem to which the article is devoted);
• c) the purpose of the study (it is necessary to express the main idea of ​​the publication, which should differ significantly from modern ideas about the problem, complement or deepen already known approaches; pay attention to the introduction of new scientific facts, conclusions, recommendations. The aim of the research should be to present the problem and analyze the latest research and publications, to clearly define the final scientific result, indicate the ways to achieve it (using which, in particular, scientific hypotheses, ideas, phenomena, laws) and preconditions that prompted the study);
• d) presentation of research material and its main results (it is necessary to highlight: the main provisions and results of research, personal ideas, opinions, used scientific facts, identified patterns, relationships, trends, methods of obtaining and analyzing factual material, personal contribution of the author to achieving the final scientific result and implementing the conclusions);
• e) conclusions (the most important research results that contain scientific novelty and have theoretical and (or) practical significance) (conclusions should include a synthesis of accumulated in the main part of scientific information, i.e. consistent, clear, logical presentation of the author personally in accordance with the goal the most important research results that contain scientific novelty and have theoretical and (or) practical significance).

1.4. The scientific novelty of the research results is characterized by the following features: rationality, validity, reliability, logical consistency, compliance with the fundamental principles of science.

2. Volume requirements

2.1. The total volume of the scientific article (information about the author, title, annotation in Ukrainian, keywords in Ukrainian, text, sub-bibliographic references, references (list of used sources)) should not exceed 15 pages.

2.2. The total length of the review should not exceed 5 pages. Be sure to submit a copy of the monograph, textbook, textbook, or other peer-reviewed publication.

3. Requirements for registration

3.1. Languages: Ukrainian or English.

3.2. The text of the scientific article should be printed in the text editor MS Word (with the extension * .doc); paper size: A4 (21 × 29.7 cm); orientation of pages: book with alignment in width with a deviation from the left edge - 1.25 cm; margins: top, bottom - 2 cm, left - 3 cm, right - 1 cm; font: Times New Roman (font size - 14 pp); line spacing - 1.5. There should be no hyphens or macros in the text.

3.3. In the scientific article, the information must be presented in the following sequence.

3.3.1. Information about the author (co-authors) of the article should be indicated in the center alignment, name and surname in Ukrainian, academic degree, academic title, information on election to the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, honorary title, position, place of work, town, country, email address). In one scientific article, we assume, as a rule, two co-authors.

3.3.2. The code for the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) should be indicated with right-aligned (abbreviated UDC tables in Ukrainian are available on the UDC website).

3.3.3. The title of the article should be given in capital letters with alignment in the center, without abbreviations, including abbreviations. The title of the article should reflect the content of the study and correspond to its purpose, scientific results and conclusions.

3.3.4. It is necessary to prepare an annotation in Ukrainian (the number of characters in it is determined by the content of the scientific article) (scientific value and (or) practical significance of its provisions). contain the following structural parts:

• a) problem statement;
• b) the purpose of the article;
• c) research methods (indicate only if they contain novelty and are of interest in view of the subject of research in the article);
• d) the main results of the study;
• e) conclusions. Each structural part of the annotation should begin with a paragraph. The names of the structural parts of the annotation, except for the purpose of the article, are not indicated. The set of keywords should correspond to the main content, reflect the topic of the study and provide its thematic search. Keywords must be given in the nominative case through a semicolon. The abstract together with keywords should be printed in Times New Roman font (12 font size), line spacing - 1.

3.3.5. The text of the article should be presented in compliance with the requirements for the content.

3.4. The text of the article should comply with the general rules of citation and references to the sources and requirements of the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302: 2015 “Information and documentation. Bibliographic reference. General Provisions and Rules of Compilation” and the international style of citation and reference in OSCOLA's scientific works used in jurisprudence, namely:

1. a) the text of the quotation within the sentence (up to three lines of text) should begin and end with single quotes and quote in the grammatical form in which it is provided in the source, while preserving the peculiarities of the author's writing. The footnote sign should be placed after the appropriate punctuation at the end of the quote or immediately after the word (phrase) to which it belongs. If the word (phrase) to which the footnote refers in parentheses, the footnote should be placed in front of the parentheses enclosing the word or phrase;
2. b) a block citation (consisting of four or more lines of text) must be submitted on a new line, with a paragraph indent for the entire citation and without quotation marks. One and a half indents should be made before and after the block quote;
3. c) the citation should be complete, without arbitrary reduction of the author's text and distortions of the author's opinions. Omissions of words, sentences, paragraphs during the citation should be done correctly and marked with three dots, which should be placed in the appropriate place of the citation (at the beginning, middle, end). If there is a punctuation mark in front of or behind the published text, it is not saved;
4. d) each citation must be accompanied by a reference to the source, the bibliographic description of which should be made depending on its type (primary or secondary source) in accordance with the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302: 2015 “Information and documentation. Bibliographic reference. General provisions and rules of compilation” or OSCOLA international style;
5. e) in case of indirect citation (translation, presentation of other authors' opinions in their own words) it is necessary to be extremely accurate in interpretation, correct in assessing their results and provide appropriate references to sources. An indirect quote should not be quoted. The footnote mark should be placed after the appropriate punctuation at the end of the indirect quotation or immediately after the word (phrase) to which it belongs. If the word (phrase) to which the footnote refers is indicated in parentheses, the footnote should be placed in front of the parentheses covering the word or phrase;
6. f) if the author of the article, quoting, highlights some words in it, you need to make a special reservation, i.e. after the text explaining the selection, put a full stop, then dash and indicate the initials of the author in italics, and the whole text of the warning in parentheses. Variants of such reservations are: (my italics - B.); (emphasized by me. - S.B.); (noted by me. – S.B.).

3.5. The key terminology and main provisions of the article are highlighted (if necessary) in italics.

3.6. In the text of the article you can provide illustrations (tables, charts, graphs, diagrams, formulas). The names of the illustrations should be placed after their numbers. If necessary, illustrations are supplemented with explanations (sub-signature).

The caption under the illustration should consist of four main elements: the name of the graphic plot, denoted by the abbreviated word "Fig."; serial number of the illustration, which is indicated without a number sign in Arabic numerals; thematic title of the illustration, which contains text with a brief description of the image; explication, which is structured as follows: the details of the plot are marked with numbers, which are made in the signature, accompanied by text. The explication does not replace the general title, but only explains the plot. In the place in the text where the topic related to the illustration is stated, and where the reader should point to it, you should place a link in the form of a statement in parentheses (Fig. 1) "or an appeal such as:"… as seen from Fig. 1” or “… as shown in Fig. 1”.

Illustrations should be formatted in separate files in Adobe PhotoShop (PSD), tiff, ai, pdf, eps formats of good quality. The resolution must be at least 300 dpi and the image size must be at least 1060 × 1410 pixels.

It is not allowed to re-photograph or scan illustrations from printed sources. In vector formats, the text must be translated into curves or add fonts.

When preparing tables, keep in mind that their content is divided into analytical and non-analytical. Analytical tables are the result of processing and analysis of digital indicators. As a rule, after such tables it is necessary to generalize about new (derived) knowledge, which is indicated in the text by words, in particular: "from the table it can be seen that…" things. Each table must have a serial number and thematic title, which must be placed above it and printed symmetrically to the text. The thematic title and the word "Table" should be capitalized. Tables must be executed in MS Word format (rtf or doc).

Charts and graphs should be made using vector editors Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or MS Excel. Schemes should be designed in vector format (cdr, eps, pdf, ai).

Formulas must be executed using the formula editor MS Equation 3.0, Math Type.

Charts, graphs, diagrams, formulas should not be placed in a separate frame or on top of the text and wraps should be used.

3.7. In the text of the article it is necessary to use subscript bibliographic references. Subscript bibliographic references should be placed as a note at the bottom of the page (typing strips), separated from the main text by a horizontal line. Subscript bibliographic references must be linked to the text of the document using footnotes, which should be placed on the top line of the font after the corresponding fragment in the text (for example: Text1) and before the subline reference (for example: 1References). When numbering reference bibliographic references, end-to-end numbering should be used throughout the article (in Arabic numerals). Subscript bibliographic references should be printed in a text editor MS Word with width alignment; font: Times New Roman (10 font size); line spacing - 1.0.

Subscript bibliographic references must be made taking into account the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302: 2015 “Information and documentation. Bibliographic reference. General Provisions and Rules of Compilation” and the international style of citations and references in OSCOLA's scientific works used in jurisprudence.

OSCOLA style involves the division of all sources used in the article into primary (regulations, statutes, cases) and secondary (books, parts of books, multivolume editions, articles from magazines (printed, electronic) and newspapers (printed, electronic), dissertations, materials of conferences (seminars, symposiums, congresses, round tables, etc.), websites, blogs).

Primary sources are prepared in accordance with the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302: 2015 “Information and documentation.

Bibliographic reference. General provisions and rules of compilation”, and secondary sources - using the international style of OSCOLA.

The rules for compiling and submitting bibliographic references in accordance with the OSCOLA style can be found in the Oxford University Standard for Citing Legal Documents (OSCOLA) (Fourth Edition) and the Guidelines for International Citing and Reference Styles in Scientific Papers. You can use the electronic bibliographic manager to compile bibliographic references in accordance with the OSCOLA style.

3.8. References should be placed after the text of the article (APA). It provides for the division into the following parts:

• a) a list of primary sources, entitled “List of legal documents”. Primary sources are divided into sections: legislation, statutes, cases. All items should be arranged alphabetically by name in each section. Primary sources must be compiled in accordance with the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302: 2015 “Information and documentation. Bibliographic reference. General provisions and rules of compilation”;
• b) a list of secondary sources called “Bibliography”. Secondary sources are divided into sections: books, parts of books, multivolume editions, articles from journals (printed, electronic) and newspapers (printed, electronic), dissertations, conference materials (seminars, symposiums, congresses, panel discussion, etc.), web sites, blogs. All items should be arranged alphabetically by author's name in each section. Publications without an author must be listed in alphabetical order by title. Secondary sources should be compiled using the OSCOLA style. Titles of Cyrillic sources, surnames and names of authors (compilers, responsible and (or) scientific editors), proper names of journals, conferences (seminars, symposiums, congresses, panel discussion, etc.) and publishing houses should be transliterated in Latin letters.

Next, in square brackets, place the English translation of the title: monograph or other publication, scientific article, abstract of the scientific report (message), as well as the title: conference, seminar, symposium, congress, panel discussion, etc.

After each position it is necessary to indicate in parentheses the language of the original source, for example - in Ukrainian or in English.

Transliteration should be carried out depending on the source language: for Ukrainian use official transliteration, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on January 27, 2010 № 55. Online services for transliteration: Ukrainian sources - public transliteration system of the Ukrainian alphabet in Latin "UKRLIT"; 

Foreign sources remain unchanged. They should be placed in front of transliterated and translated Cyrillic. If several works by one author, editor or compiler are listed in a bibliographic description, a double hyphen (- -) is used in the subsequent descriptions after the first description, which replaces the name. Entries should be arranged in chronological order (starting with the oldest), and if the years of publication coincide - in alphabetical order by title.

Be sure to specify the international digital object identifier (DOI) for all cited sources for which they exist. References must be printed in a text editor MS Word with width alignment; font: Times New Roman (12 font size); line spacing - 1.0.

4. Submission requirements

4.1. To publish a scientific article that has not been previously published (published) in other printed (electronic) publications, the e-mail address of the journal (visnyk@dano.dp.ua) must be sent an electronic version (the file name must contain the author's surname (s) (co-authors) and the date of submission marked “article”) together with illustrations (if any), issued in separate files in appropriate formats (see sub-item 3.6.) (file names must contain the name (s) of the author (s) and date marked "illustration").

4.2. The author (co-authors) must provide information about themselves (the file name must contain the name (s) of the author (s) and the date of submission marked "information").

4.3. The author (co-authors) must pay for the service of placing the article in the journal. Payment must be made in the appropriate form. The last name, first name, patronymic and title of the publication must be indicated in the purpose of payment.

4.4. Having sent a scientific article and other materials provided for in paragraphs 4.1–4.3 Requirements to the scientific article submitted for publication in the journal "Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education Herald", the author (co-authors) fully and unconditionally accepts (accepts) the terms of the License Agreement for the use of the work.

The author (co-authors) is (are) responsible for the accuracy of the material presented, the latter belongs to him (them) personally and the quality of translation of quotations from foreign sources.

Materials submitted in violation of these requirements are not published or returned to the author (co-authors).

The editorial board has the right to review (double blind review), shorten and reject articles.
