Cost

The publication of research articles in the journal is subject to payment for editorial and publishing services.

The publication fee is 900 UAH per article of up to 12 pages. If the article exceeds this length, each additional page is charged separately at a rate of 60 UAH.

Payment is made after the article has been accepted for publication following peer review and the editorial board’s decision. The publication fee is fixed for the author upon submission of the manuscript and does not change at subsequent stages of the editorial process.

The publication fee covers the costs associated with the editorial preparation of the material, including literary editing, technical processing, typesetting, DOI assignment and the placement of the article in open access on the journal’s official website.

Preferential publication terms

The journal’s editorial policy provides for the possibility of applying preferential terms for the payment of the Article Processing Charge (APC) for certain categories of authors.

In particular, students pursuing a third (research) level of higher education (postgraduate students) on a state-funded programme are exempt from paying the publication fee provided the following requirements are met:

• the article is written solely by the author (without co-authors);
• a certificate from the place of study (postgraduate programme) confirming the student’s status has been submitted.

The granting of preferential terms is subject to the decision of the editorial board following the article’s completion of the full peer-review process and provided the material meets the publication’s requirements. The application of these preferential terms does not affect the objectivity of the peer review, the content of the editorial review, or the final decision regarding publication.
