Publication Ethics and Editorial Policy

Publication Ethics and Editorial Policy

The scholarly professional journal conducts its editorial activities in accordance with the principles of academic integrity, transparency, and responsibility, following internationally recognized standards of publication ethics, in particular the recommendations of the *Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)*, as well as best practices established by leading scholarly communities.

The editorial policy is aimed at ensuring the quality of scholarly publications, adherence to ethical standards at all stages of the editorial and publishing process, and prevention of any forms of misconduct.

Core Principles of Publication Ethics

The editorial team adheres to the following fundamental principles: scientific rigor and reliability of research results; originality of scholarly materials and prevention of plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification of data; transparency of editorial procedures and impartiality in decision-making; respect for copyright and proper citation of sources; and shared responsibility of all participants in the publication process for the quality of scholarly content.

Editorial Policy

The editorial board ensures the organization of independent, objective, and unbiased peer review of manuscripts; makes publication decisions solely on the basis of the scientific value, relevance, and alignment of the manuscript with the journal’s scope; maintains confidentiality of submitted materials and information about authors and reviewers; prevents the influence of commercial, political, or other external factors on editorial decisions; and responds promptly to cases of violations of publication ethics. The editorial board reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not meet scientific, ethical, or editorial standards.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are required to submit original research results that have not been previously published and are not under consideration elsewhere; ensure the accuracy of the data and the validity of conclusions; follow proper citation practices and avoid any form of plagiarism; clearly indicate the actual contribution of all co-authors; disclose any conflicts of interest; and promptly inform the editorial office of any errors identified in published materials.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to provide independent, objective, and well-reasoned evaluations of manuscripts; maintain confidentiality of the reviewed materials; refrain from reviewing in the presence of a conflict of interest; offer constructive feedback aimed at improving the scientific quality of the work; and inform the editorial office of any detected cases of misconduct.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors ensure impartial decision-making regarding publication; adherence to confidentiality principles; quality control of the peer review process; consideration of complaints and appeals within established procedures; and initiation of corrections or retractions in cases of identified violations.

Conflict of Interest

All participants in the editorial process (authors, reviewers, editors) are required to disclose any potential or actual conflicts of interest that may affect the objectivity of the evaluation or interpretation of research results.

Policy on Ethical Violations

In cases of plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data, unethical authorship, or other violations, the editorial board considers such cases in accordance with COPE recommendations. Depending on the outcome, the following measures may be applied: rejection of the manuscript; publication of corrections; retraction of the article; notification of the authors’ affiliated institutions.

Transparency and Openness

The editorial office ensures transparency of information regarding editorial policies, peer review procedures, submission requirements, and ethical standards. All relevant documents are publicly available on the journal’s website.
